Language Pack Activation Guide

For Innovaficient Translation for Sheets (a Google Sheet™ Add-On)

Preliminary

Two primary paths to having the Innovaficient Translation for Sheets Add-on ready to go:

1. Purchase a language pack on Gumroad and then get the Add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace™. 

OR

2. Acquire the Add-on from Google Workspace Marketplace™ then purchase a language pack on Gumroad. 

Instructions are provided to easily activate the dd-on and then activate your Language Pack ready to use.

Below is an overview of the process once you have the Add-on by either path.

✅ Step 1 – Activate Innovaficient Translation for Sheets

(Required once per user, but you do NOT re-enter your pack code.)

Perform this step in every new Google Sheet™ where you want multilingual translation.

1. Open a new or existing Google Sheet™.
   
   

2. In the menu bar, go to:
   Extensions → Innovaficient Translation for Sheets → Activate (Template or Pack Code)
   
   

3. The add-on will:
   
   

   • Create its internal sheets (including User_Guide)
     
     

   • Install the default core language set
     
     

   • Add the Language menu
     
     

   • Automatically apply any Language Packs you previously activated
     
     

4. When activation completes, reload the sheet (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R).
   
   

After reload you should see:

• A sheet named User_Guide
  
  

• The Language menu
  
  

• All languages from your activated packs automatically available
  
  

You do NOT need to activate the add-on again in future spreadsheets.

✅ Step 2 – Redeem your [REGION_NAME] Language Pack code (one-time only)

(Only needed once per user — not per spreadsheet.)

Complete this step only when first activating your purchased Language Pack.

1. Open any Google Sheet™.
   
   

2. Run Extensions → Innovaficient Translation for Sheets → Activate (Template or Pack Code) once.
   This creates your User_Guide sheet.
   
   

3. Open the User_Guide sheet.
   
   

4. Locate the field labelled Pack Code and add it exactly as shown below in your License documentation (eg from Gumroad or other vendors): 

🔑 Pack Code for [REGION_NAME]

[PACK_CODE_REGION]

5. Go to:
   Extensions → Innovaficient Translation for Sheets → Activate (Template or Pack Code)
   
   

6. Wait for confirmation that the [REGION_NAME] Language Pack is activated.
   
   

7. Reload the sheet (Ctrl+R / Cmd+R).
   
   

After activation:

• The new languages appear in the Extensions → Innovaficient Translation for Sheets menu dropdown
  
  

This is a one time activation and you do NOT need to activate the add-on nor enter your pack code

Pack Codes are the key that provides your access to the power of the Add-on.  Use of the Add-on and Pack Code(s)  is limited to the Licensee and Pack Codes may not be shared, redistributed or published.
